eddie assuming steve doesn't really have a sense of humor since he takes things more literally--also causing him to be the butt of the joke a lot of the time when hanging with the kids. sure he's sarcastic, but eddie wouldn't say steve's highlighted characteristic is being humorous. then, after hanging around steve more, only the two of them, it is unexpectedly revealed to eddie that steve has a weird fucking sense of humor when steve joins eddie at doing shadow puppets--his voice acting being surprisingly good? which is very endearing to eddie because steve harrington actually being a weird dude all along isn't something he thought was possible. eddie regrets his assumption because steve is hilarious, steve just needed some time to be comfortable enough to crack jokes. it also makes eddie ticked off because how is he both gorgeous and strange, and how does he stop himself from wanting to learn how to bake a whole bakery's worth of sweets for this guy?

So some of you may or may not know about my deer army.

The taming phase is going excellently!

In winter, the hungry and susceptible fawns pay no mind to fear when a human offers apples and carrots…

This, is beneficial to my mission.

They recognize me and will approach even if I do not have food. Recent circumstances show they also know where I live.

My army is growing. Soon I will have all of the deer in my region tamed and trained, and I will usher my legions to destroy the yards of bigots and karens, namely the hated provincial (that’s state for you non Canadians) politician in my city.

Soon… I will fashion a crown of antlers, the Deer King’s army… yesssss…
